Our research revealed the platforms where users go to read or share reviews before buying:


  • TikTok (35%): TikTok reigns supreme in this space. With its short, engaging videos, users get product demos, unboxings, and genuine opinions from creators they trust. The visual and authentic nature of TikTok makes it a top destination for discovering new products and hearing real user feedback.

  • Google (8%): Google remains a trusted platform for reviews, especially through Google My Business listings and user-generated ratings. With Google’s algorithm increasingly prioritizing reviews, it’s a key space for businesses to maintain a strong presence.

  • Product Review Pages (5%): Dedicated review sites still hold their ground as reliable sources for product-specific feedback. These platforms, such as Trustpilot and G2, provide detailed and structured reviews that consumers rely on for bigger purchase decisions.

  • Reddit (4%): Known for its niche communities and in-depth discussions, Reddit is a growing platform for unbiased, crowd-sourced reviews. Users trust Reddit because of its raw, no-frills approach to feedback.
